TRUSTEES
(unpaid – out of pocket expenses reimbursed)
Mountain Ash YMCA is a local charity providing services to children,
young people and their communities throughout Rhondda Cynon
Taff. We work with the most vulnerable and disadvantaged
providing youth services, housing and support services,
community development programmes and training. Mountain Ash
YMCA supports and works in partnership with others to
provide comprehensive services responding to local needs.
We wish to recruit new members to join our
Board of Trustees.
We need people who can help direct Mountain Ash
YMCA towards achieving its mission and ensure the organisation
is effectively managed. You would need to be able to
make a commitment to YMCA and devote the necessary time;
have strategic vision; independent judgement; an ability
to think creatively and a willingness to speak your mind.
Ideally, the new Trustees would have skills and experience
in one or more of the following areas:
* networking and relationship building with senior policymakers
at national level
* experience of charity regulation at national, strategic
level
* expanding service delivery
* financial management, human resource or public relations
We are particularly keen to achieve a more diverse board of trustees, and we welcome applications from all sections of the community.
For an informal discussion about the role of trustee, contact the Centre Manager on 01443 473334
