Mountain Ash YMCA is a registered charity working in the Cynon Valley. Our mission is to help and support young people by giving them the opportunity to express themselves and learn and develop good citizenship, the association is dedicated to helping those members of society who are socially disadvantaged. The YMCA has an open door policy which shows no discrimination and welcomes all.
The project has been set up for Young Carers aged 8-18 who live in the Cynon Valley. It aims to provide an independent point of contact for Young Carers that will offer information, support, advice, one to one discussion and group activities.
Mountain Ash YMCA’s EAU (“Duffryn House”) continues to offer a safe clean and friendly short – term home for homeless vulnerable people aged between 16 to 21 years of age.
Mountain Ash YMCA’s rooms and facilities can be reserved for conferences and other activities for short or long term bookings by contacting our main switchboard number.
